Bio
Nancy serves as the 4-H Youth Development Program Assistant. She directly supports the 4-H Youth Development Agent with all programmatic content. She believes K-State 4-H has been invaluable by offering curriculum materials that are current and relevant.
Nancy came to Douglas County Research and Extension as a second career. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from VA Tech and has formerly worked as a livestock nutritionist, a 4-H extension agent, and owner of a diversified livestock farm and market garden. She has been a 4-H volunteer for over twenty years serving in a wide array of roles. Nancy understands the value of 4-H in young persons lives to help them attain life skills and assume leadership roles, and is committed to working to help them achieve their goals.
